Outline: Introduces the city of Melbourne, the starting point of the yacht race, to Osaka citizens in various ways using photo panels and visual images. In addition, the latest position of the competing yachts will be displayed on a large piece of sheet laid out on the floor, showing the paths that have been traveled by respective yacht.
Date: Mid April - mid May, as yachts arrive at Osaka
Place: Osaka Hokko Yacht Harbour
Outline: As yachts finish the race and enter the Osaka Hokko Yacht Harbor, a celebration ceremony will be held at the stage set up at the Harbor.
The crews will receive bouquets and souvenirs commemorating the finish, and may receive interviews.
Date: May 4, 2007 (Friday), 10:00 - 15:00
Place: On the sea offshore the Osaka Hokko Yacht Harbour
Number of participants: about 300
Outline: With a full support from the Osaka Hokko Yacht Club, a sailing event will be held off the Osaka Hokko Yacht Harbor for promoting exchanges between the crews of yachts that finished the race and the citizens of Osaka.

Number of participants: about 50
Outline: A race of safety-ensured access dinghies at the Osaka Hokko Yacht Harbor. Open to everybody including beginners and the handicapped.
Date: May 6, 2007 (Sunday), 10:00-15:00
Place: Osaka Hokko Yacht Harbor
Number of participants: about 200
Outline: This event at the Osaka Hokko Yacht Harbor is an opportunity to sail on access dinghy, a type of sailboat that is safety-ensured even for beginners and disabled people.
Concurrently, an event for children will be held in at the Harbor.

Outline: An official awarding ceremony for the race, held at an open space at the WTC building.
Date: May 13, 2007 (Sunday), 12:00 – 15:00
Place: Osaka Hokko Yacht Harbour
Number of participants: about 300 (including the public)
Outline: This is an outdoor party for celebrating the success of the yacht race, to be participated by the race entrants, their supporters, welcoming staff members and the citizens invited from the public.
