Information for all competitors   

MMSI Application

It is a requirement for all ISAF Category “0” races for competitors to ensure there EPIRBS are registered with the appropriate authority. The appropriate authority in Australia is AusSAR .

AusSAR maintain a data base with all custodians of 406MHZ Distress beacons and their Australian Maritime Mobile Service Identity (MMSI) numbers. A MMSI application form can be obtained from the address below to register all beacons. This information will also be needed by the organizing authority to ensure our database is correct.

Please ensure you register your 406MHz distress beacons and the information is forwarded to the Race Director for race records.
