| Additional Comments: | At the age of 16, I came to know Kojiro Shiraishi who circumnavigated the globe single-handed and found that a yacht can take you to the world. For three years at high school, I enjoyed dinghy and keel boat sailing. In 1997 when the City of Osaka hosted a tall ship race “SAIL SAOKA ‘97” from Hong Kong to Osaka, I joined the event aboard “Tamagomalu” under the former owner. After the event, I studied in Australia for 9 months and happened to know Jimmi who also joined SAIL OSAKA ’97 on a different boat. We decided to enter OSAKA CUP 1999 and did, but took as long as 48 days knocked down twice. This is a kind of revenge with the same boat and the same partner. |

| Additional Comments: | This is my 4th entry in OSAKA CUP: in 1995 aboard Raika taking 38 days, in 1999 aboard Tamagomalu taking 48 days and in 2003 TMQ Marine taking 35 days. I also joined SAIL OSAKA ’97 with Gishu Oda who was the skipper of 1995 Raika. In Australia, I have done various race such as Sydney – Hobart and Brisbane – Gladstone races. |
