Expectations: That it'll be an amazing mental challenge keeping everything going for such a long time.
Looking forward to: A really short time in the doldrums with luck!
Years sailing: About 20 years
Favourite waters: Haven't been that wide and far, but I liked sailing near New Caledonia. Great waves.
Favourite sailing experience: Sharpies, Lake Illawarra 30 knots reaching. Awesome!
Sailing Achievements: Few minor titles in dinghies, personal satisfaction in the 05 Melbourne to Hobart and 2nd double handed across the line in the Melbourne to Vanuatu 2006.

Why did you choose to compete? Huge learning curve and the challenge. James and I bought the boat just to compete in this event. Managing the campaign and building ocean racing experience has already been a learning experience.
Expectations: A tough mental and physical test
Looking forward to: Getting there with the boat and ourselves in one piece and breaking our own speed record (22.5 knots)

Favourite waters: The Whitsundays
Favourite sailing experience: Surfing toward Vanuatu for 5 hours with the kite up in 30 knots, double handed.
Sailing Achievements: 12' cadet dinghy state titles, 5th 2005 Melbourne to Hobart, 2nd Double Handed Division 2006 Melbourne to Vanuatu
